Main Street Mile

The photos are in and we have proof that the Main Street Mile allows all comers.  The woman with the orange windbreaker tied around her neck like a horse collar actually won!  (For her age group.)  JT put the hurt to most of the racers and still had gas left in her tank.

Northern Maryland Extreme Hiking

JT took the lead through the woods on a Maryland hike.  Mom enjoyed our company, but spent the day wishing she was on the Appalacian trail instead.

We stopped for lunch and sat on a large rock where the girls could soak their tired feet in the cold water while we ate.  (Fortunately, we chose not to drink the water from the stream.)
Rocks were everywhere, but Dad did not find any of them comfortable.  Some seemed downright mean.

. . . where is the Appalacian trail?

JT remained in the lead the entire hike, and occasionally had to clear the path.  While JT cleared the way, Mom and Dad took frequent breaks, as you can see above.

Easter Time

JT made a dress for Easter this year and graciously posed in it.  Mom wanted to post more pictures, but JT said, "NO."

Hazel and Averrett spent the day with us.  They brought their parents along.  We all listened to Joan's talk in church on the atonement and then had a nice Easter dinner prepared by Mom and Geri.  After dinner, we discovered that the Easter Bunny had hidden eggs in our back yard.

Seth and Hazel performed a duet and Hazel danced some in her new Easter tutu dress.

After dinner, several took to the mat for some PJ wrestling.  I think Averrett won.
