Pre-Wedding activities in Land of 10,000 Lakes

Wawa and I arrived Tuesday morning. The most important event--WEDDING LICENSE took 3 tries but Wednesday morning the happy couple had it in hand. PHEW!! We took the time to celebrate a birthday getting our toes done in style!
The birthday girl..........Wawa's friend from California
Bride toes terrific!
Grandma T is right. This is the world's best DQ. In route witnessed the most amazing, perfectly timed chinese fire drill embellished with 2 soaring leaps off Uncle G's bumper. Thanks DT and Dad.
At 1Am, Uncle Tom arrived with his 15 passenger big green van, driving straight 27 hours with only 3 hours break from his son, the best man.
Short night--met at 7 a.m. The wholesale flower market was a blast!! The perfect flowers were selected for our big event. Wawa and friends made bridal bouquet, corsages, boutonnieres, and arrangements for fireplace etc at reception center. We appreciated our flower friend who got us there, transported our flowers and made the outside arrangements. I headed to the airport to gather family and friends. Great reunion!!
Our afternoon was spent in DT's amazing backyard with lake--peachpit, blondie and chubster stole the show. The BBQ hosted by DT's fam was great and such fun meeting most of his aunts and uncles and cousins, and seeing the friends in action on the lake.

The party continued for boompa and JT--great seats at the ballgame that evening. The bride and groom and ryguy and college friends enjoyed a skybox. THANKS TO DT'S DAD!! I was thankful to have my sisters and folks to help out at the hotel with grandpa, peachpit, blondie, and chubster while I made my last airport pickup of pickett!!

Wawa found her beautiful dress and brought it home at Christmas. She needed the neckline changed from V to sweetheart, buttons down the back, hemming, and a bustle. All went as requested thankfully!!!
